Happy Surprise Birthday to Me!

David and Ellie decided to throw me a small surprise birthday party on Sunday, after my girls weekend. They really surprised me! Ellie did a wonderful job on all the decorations and she choose all of the food with David. What a little sneak she is! My sister, Anna, even came in town to surprise me.

Girls Weekend

This past weekend, several of my old school friends came to Fayetteville for a girls weekend. We had a wonderful time visiting and just catching up with each other. It is hard to believe that we have been out of school for 20 years!

The Computer Fairy

Ellie has been teaching Georgianna how to play games on the computer. Here is a picture of how Miss G spent President's Day ... wearing a tutu and playing Dora on the computer.

Dallas - February 9 to 13

To celebrate Ellie's birthday a few weeks early, we went to Dallas to shop and eat. My mother, Jill, Ellie, Georgianna, and I camped out on the floor at Anna's apartment for 4 nights. (Thanks Anna!) We were able to see the Tays family and hang out with them, also. We spent all day Monday at the American Girl Doll Place shopping, eating, and getting Ellie's doll's hair done. The place is very pink .... Who would have thought that getting a doll's hair fixed costs more than a haircut for E or G. We ended the trip with a dinner at the Rainforest Cafe (can you say kid's trip?) to eat with the elephants and monkeys. I think my sister, Anna, was in shock and G was scared of the noises. We were fortunate to have wonderful weather the whole time we were in Dallas.

Superstar in Training

Georgianna loves to dress up in her Princess dresses and whatever costumes are available. She collected as many beads as she could from the Mardi Gras parade on Saturday, February 2nd. The next day - Superbowl Sunday - she decided that she wanted to be Hannah Montana. Ellie was not very amused.
