This past week was VBS at our church and Ellie and Georgianna were able to participate. The theme was Power Lab and both girls loved the music. On Sunday in Church, they let the children sing before the service one of the songs they learned during the week. It was the first time for G to sing in a group, and it will be the only time both E and G get to sing together. G is in the front row on the right corner. Ellie is somewhere in the back, and you can not see her in the picture. Sunday, June 29, 2008

Friends
We had a fun day visiting Kebra and Baker from Tulsa, and Kamron with her two kids, Henley and Rayner. Sarah F. even stopped by to say "hi" while Kebra was in town. E and G loved having the house full of visitors.

Rayner and Ellie (ages 8). They both were in the same play group as babies, and I tried to find a picture of them to post, but all my pictures of them as babies are not on disk. I will still search for a picture that I can upload.

Play Date
Georgianna had a spontaneous play date today with Libby who came home from church with us to play. It was the perfect day for G to have someone over since David is traveling and Ellie spent the afternoon helping Papa Jack plant some flowers for his garden. G and Libby were so cute and good. The girls and I were lucky in that Raelyn also came home from church with us and played with the girls for a few hours. Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures of them with Raelyn. Next time I will have to do a better job with pictures.

First Day of Summer
Summer is finally here and it has stopped raining everyday. David is traveling for work for several days so the girls and I took the opportunity to take his jeep to the pool. Ellie and G had a wonderful afternoon swimming with friends.

Father's Day on the Lake

We were able to spend Father's Day weekend at the lake and celebrate the day with David's Mom and Larry and my Mom and Jack. Ellie and G think it is the greatest thing that both of their grandmothers are friends and they both come to visit at the same time. The lake is still very high, but the water is much clearer and warmer now. Ellie is fearless and jumps in the water the minute the boat stops, where G takes her time and slowly eases into the lake. Ellie has always been a strong swimmer and when she was G's age, she would just jump in the lake and swim laps around the boat. It is fun to watch both girls grow up and see the differences between them. As they get older, the differences are becoming more pronounced.Tuesday, June 10, 2008
Kids Day at the Farmers Market
The Farmer's Market on the Square put on a "kids day" which was very entertaining and educational. They had firetrucks, tractors, puppets and a fake cow. Georgianna was taken with the cow and she loved milking it. There was actual milk coming out of it into the bucket! She is ready to go back to the market to see the "cow".
After the market and once Ellie got home from school, the girls started working on their father's day gifts. I am trying to let them do more crafts at home and I have set up a table in the garage so if they make a mess - it is ok!Saturday, June 7, 2008
The Wedding!
The wedding was beautiful and Amber was a stunning bride. Ellie and Georgianna did a perfect job walking down the isle, sitting and then walking back up after the ceremony. David and I were so proud of them. Ellie was so sweet to her little sister and coached her throughout the ceremony.

The reception was a blast. After a full sit-down meal, there were lovely toasts to the bride and groom, cake, and then the dancing started. The dance floor filled up fast and Ellie was right in the middle doing the chicken dance, YMCA, the Slide, etc... Georgianna even had a few dances with her daddy. I think E & G had one the best days ever, and they will always remember the day they were the "flower girls".Friday, June 6, 2008
Wedding Reheresal

Ellie and Georgianna are flowers girls for Amber and Grayson's wedding. Amber is one of our best baby-sitters and the girls love her! They were so excited about being asked to be a part of her wedding. Georgianna has been asking me for weeks when she can practice "the wedding." The weekend is finally here ....
