Camp Retreat

Yesterday, Ellie went on an all day camp retreat at Camp War Eagle on Beaver Lake. She had to ride on a bus to get there and back to Fayetteville last night. I was so proud of her for going since none of her friends had signed up for the event. I was worried about her not knowing anyone and freezing since Fayetteville had a cold spell yesterday. I did not need to worry since Ellie had a wonderful time and she saw one of her cabin mates from last year and she knew some girls from Fayetteville that were there. Ellie said they broke off into small groups and did many activities. They even had some free time like they do at camp. She said she really enjoyed archery, fishing, crafts and singing.
