Strike

Friday night, we went the Arkansas Natural's baseball game to see them play against the Arkansas Travelers from North Little Rock. Ellie and G both loved Strike the Mascot. Strike was named by a classmate in Ellie's 2nd grade class. After the game, the ballpark had a spectacular fireworks show which we all loved.

Sleeping Beauties

Thursday night, Georgianna climbed in bed with Ellie and they both slept in Ellie's bed. I thought it was so sweet so I took about 10 pictures with the flash, and neither child moved. Notice that G has on Ellie's face mask and a Dora band aid on her arm. I do not think G had a cut, but she just thought she needed the band aid.

Georgianna had a haircut on Wednesday morning, and then came home for a three hour nap. Here are some pictures of her right after she woke up.

Saturday Afternoon ... Little Rock

We drove to Little Rock and back on Saturday to see High School Musical on Ice at the Alltel Arena. I think everyone enjoyed the show and the drive was not bad.

Saturday Morning Play Time

Saturday morning, Baker and Kebra came over for breakfast before they headed back to Tulsa and we headed to Little Rock. Baker and Georgianna had fun playing and eating together - even though it was for a very short time. We hope they come visit us again very soon.

Happy Birthday Stacy!

Friday night was Stacy's Surprise 40th birthday party at the Town Center. Here is a picture of some of the girls in our Poker Group who attended. The party was sooo... much fun and I think everyone there had a fabulous time. Good luck to any husband who thinks he can top that party! Poker group with Stacy

Tennis Match

I won my first tennis match today! I played doubles with Christy and we won our match, plus our team won the team match. It was so much fun to win. I have played in other matches that our team has won, but I have not actually won a doubles game until today. David and the girls came to support me, and David surprised me by taking pictures. My Cheering Section!

Camp Retreat

Yesterday, Ellie went on an all day camp retreat at Camp War Eagle on Beaver Lake. She had to ride on a bus to get there and back to Fayetteville last night. I was so proud of her for going since none of her friends had signed up for the event. I was worried about her not knowing anyone and freezing since Fayetteville had a cold spell yesterday. I did not need to worry since Ellie had a wonderful time and she saw one of her cabin mates from last year and she knew some girls from Fayetteville that were there. Ellie said they broke off into small groups and did many activities. They even had some free time like they do at camp. She said she really enjoyed archery, fishing, crafts and singing. I think the experience has made her even more ready for camp this summer. Last Summer - first day of camp - Ellie in middle with Erin and Raelyn

Big Girl Room

Georgianna is so proud of her room since we moved her "big girl" bed away from the wall and took off the rail. She has slept in her bed for the past two nights without the rail and has not fallen out. I have been busy cleaning out her toys and clothes getting ready for spring. It was G's idea to give away all of her "baby" toys.

Sunday Dinner

The girls love it when Anna comes to town to visit. Here is a picture of E and G sitting with Anna and Austin on Sunday before our family meal.

Baseball Game

Playing at the park before the game.

Ellie was able to go the Razorback baseball game on Saturday with her friend Caitlin. Before the game, Ellie and Caitlin played at the park. They had a great time and what a fun day! Thank you Elizabeth for taking the girls.

Riding Lessons

Ellie takes riding lessons on Fridays, and she actually was able to ride this week because it was not raining! Here are some pictures of Ellie with her instructor and another picture of Georgianna watching.
